The estimated least-squares means for the prevalence of pigs (y axis) in each housing group with highest registered osteochondrosis (OC) scores of 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 (x axis). Significant differences between the housing groups are designated as *P ≤ 0.05, **P ≤ 0.01, ***P ≤ 0.001 on the x axis. The confined pigs significantly more often had OC 2 as the highest OC compared to the free-range pigs, which significantly more often had OC 4 or 5 as the highest value registered
