Mean Cy5:Cy3 intensity ratios for 18 leukocyte genes identified by cDNA microarray analysis to be repressed at 6 hours postpartum compared to 14 days prepartum. Data are for 18 BOTL clones showing as red spots on the microarray in Fig. 1 and falling in the cluster of Cy5 spots in Fig. 4. Data in this figure showed that the 18 leukocyte genes represented by these BOTL clones had between 1.2-fold and 4-fold higher expression levels 14 days before parturition than 6 hours after parturition.
