This collection brings together proceedings from the 9th International Symposium on Veterinary Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy, held in August 2016, in Uppsala, Sweden. The reports included in these proceedings focus on research covering veterinary medicine, physical therapy, sports medicine, biomechanics, motion analysis, pain and critical care. The symposium was held by the International Association of Veterinary Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy (IAVRPT), in collaboration with the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) and the Veterinary European Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Association (VEPRA).
