The two calculated cut-off values are marked by the horizontal lines (solid line for the cut-off value suggested by the manufacturer (the mean OD₄₅₀ + 10 × SD of the negative control samples) and the dashed line for the cut-off value based on the CIEP negative samples (the mean OD₄₅₀ + 3 × SD of the CIEP negative samples)).
