Minimum spanning tree based on sequences of 81 whole genome sequenced methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus isolates belonging to spa type t034 obtained from Finnish pigs. The tree is based on core genome multilocus sequence typing using 1861 genes. Columns with missing values were removed for calculation. The numbers in the circles represent the strains. The numbers on the connecting lines between the circles represent the allelic difference between the strains. Colours indicate year of isolation. A detailed list of the strains with corresponding numbering can be found in Additional files 2, 4
