Ultrasonogram in a calf with diffuse peritonitis. Abdominal ultrasonogram of a three-month-old calf with diffuse peritonitis as a result of type-4 abomasal ulcer. The image was obtained from the right flank using a 5-MHz convex transducer. The abdomen contains a massive amount of fluid with gas inclusions (echogenic stippling).
